Macmichael Nwaiwu

An experienced international petroleum and natural gas engineer, Macmichael Nwaiwu holds a bachelor of science in petroleum and natural gas engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri in Nigeria and a master of science in petroleum engineering from the University of Houston in Texas. He embarked on his career as a petroleum engineer with Addax Petroleum in the Nigerian metropolis of Lagos. Later, after moving to Houston, Texas, Macmichael Nwaiwu held leadership roles as a drilling and completions engineer with Halliburton and a lead project engineer with PinnacleART.

Since January of 2016, Macmichael Nwaiwu has served as executive chairman of Global Dynamic Integrity Solutions, a provider of engineering and environmental solutions services that operates throughout Nigeria. For nearly a year, he has concurrently served as a senior national gas engineer with DTE Energy. This Detroit, Michigan-based publicly traded corporation conducts diversified energy development and management operations on a nationwide basis.
