Chuck Grom

A graduate of Holy Cross College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting, Chuck Grom possesses more than two decades of experience as a financial analyst in the retail and consumer market sectors. He serves as a Senior Analyst and Managing Director for Gordon Haskett Research Advisors in New York, and presides over the company’s broadline/hardline retail and supermarket sectors. His responsibilities focus on building out a consumer “boutique” in order to advance the firm’s commitment to high-quality and conflict-free analysis work. Additionally, Chuck Grom is certified as a Chartered Financial Analyst and as a Certified Public Accountant.

Chuck Grom entered the financial industry straight out of college and became a staff accountant for Arthur Andersen, LLP, the same year he graduated. After performing the job for three years, he rose to the level of senior auditor and managed a small team of five to ten colleagues. He later joined Salomon Smith Barney as an equity research associate, during which time he collaborated with analysts to prepare call notes, research reports, and broad economics pieces. Additionally, Mr. Grom served as a managing director for several other companies prior to joining Gordon Haskett in 2017: CRT Sterne Agee, Deutsche Bank, and JP Morgan.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Chuck Grom enjoys surfing, golfing, and running. He is also a sports fan, with season tickets for the New York Jets and a member on the local Chatham lacrosse team.
