Amzy Hibler

As co-owner and chief financial officer (CFO) of Technology Guru, a home automation and security company, Amzy Hibler draws on a career history of successful leadership. He served in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years, where most of his time was spent working in exploration and production operations. Amzy Hibler most recently served as deputy chief financial officer for DNO ASA in Oslo, Norway. Before this position, he led as chief financial officer and vice president of finance for the Chevron Pipe Line Company.

Responsible for all accounting, regulatory, and financial functions of the company, Amzy Hibler oversaw more than $8 billion in assets from business lines including terminals, gas storage, and gas and liquid pipelines. He accepted this role following service as director of finance for Chevron's Unocal Midstream and Trade, having previously led as regional vice president of finance in the company's Jakarta, Indonesia office.

Mr. Hibler has spent more than 10 years overseas, during which time he lived and worked in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He developed the inaugural finance and tax subcommittee for the Kazakhstan Petroleum Association, after which time he chaired a similar committee for the Indonesian Petroleum Association for three years.
