William Harnisch

A chartered financial analyst and an experienced investment services professional, William Harnisch has served as the chief investment strategist at New York City’s Peconic Partners since 2000. He holds active membership in the National Association of Investment Analysts, the New York Academy of Sciences, the World Presidents Organization, and the Chief Executives Organization. In addition to overseeing all investment operations at Peconic Partners, William Harnisch concurrently manages the philanthropic activities of the William F. Harnisch Foundation and sits on the board of directors of the funding arm of Baruch College.

He formerly served well over two decades with Forstmann-Leff Associates, joining the company in the late 1970s as a portfolio manager and research analyst and leaving it in the early 2000s as its president and chief executive officer. Mr. Harnisch embarked on his career in the late 1960s as a vice president in charge of special equity investments with Chase Manhattan Bank (now doing business as JPMorgan Chase Bank).
