Michael G Conner

An experienced psychologist, expert witness and technology consultant in Bend, Oregon, Dr. Michael G. Conner has led Bend Psychological Services as clinical director since 1999. He provides a range of services to adults, families, and youth, including psychological counseling, intervention, and evaluation. Dr. Michael G. Conner also makes referrals to residential and outdoor behavioral health programs. He has nearly a decade of experience providing consumer protection, having identified and helped authorities to close several abusive youth programs. He has served fiur times as an expert on youth intervention program safety for network and cable national television.

Dr. Michael G. Conner holds a bachelors in engineering, a master’s in counseling from Oregon State University and a doctor of psychology from Pacific University. He completed his advanced training during his residency and clinical psychology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, where he delivered mental health care services in a primary care settings, emergency departments, outpatient mental health clinics and health education programs. Among other areas, Dr. Conner gained experience with intake evaluations, triage screening, treatment planning, and emergency psychiatric services during this time. He conducted research in primary medical care creating and implementing the Kaiser Mental Health Questionnaire; the first online comprehensive mental health screening system in the United States for physician use.
