Dr. Brian Klagges, a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine subspecialist, maintains a career-long dedication to offering the latest in treatment technology and procedures. He performs a number of innovative procedures including the minimally invasive discectomy, which uses newly developed technology from Hydrocision of Massachusetts. Also a pioneer in the use of minimally invasive lumbar treatments, Dr. Brian Klagges offers training in percutaneous lumbar facet arthrodesis and other related procedures to physicians across the United States. Experienced as a staff anesthesiologist in several New England hospitals, he now leads as a partner in Amoskeag Anesthesia of New Hampshire.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Brian Klagges completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the Tufts-New England Medical Center before entering a second residency in anesthesiology at the nearby Caritas-St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. The recipient of several resident awards, including the Paul Levesque, MD, Award for excellence in interventional pain management and the Robelen Award for accomplishments in anesthesiology, Dr. Klagges has since gone on to receive several Patient's Choice and Top Doctor awards.
