We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Javascript/Typescript Developer to join our newly formed team responsible for our data preview/feedback platform. This project is pivotal to our customer success organization and will integrate with numerous systems. It serves as a comprehensive hub for all types of feedback from our end clients, providing not just data previews but also significant opportunities to learn various aspects of user experience and UI design, with a potential direction towards Golang.
This position is to work on a 6 month contract. Responsibilities:
Develop State-of-the-Art Applications: Use a modern Typescript stack (Node.js, React) to build cutting-edge applications.
Collaborate on UI/UX: Work closely with UI experts and designers to implement responsive interfaces across multiple platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with teammates, product managers, and engineers to break down feature requests into actionable plans and assist in the creation and execution of test plans.
Establish Standards: Collaborate with key architects and managers to establish and implement best practices to deliver high-quality software.
Fulfill Requirements: Ensure development projects meet requirements and goals, providing a delightful experience for end-users.
Documentation: Create necessary documentation to ensure project objectives are met and designs are well-documented and communicated.
Hands-On Development: Engage in in-depth analysis, review, design, development, and debugging of applications.
Innovate: Be proactive in suggesting new features and improvements, taking ownership of new developments.
Testing Ownership: Developers will own all kinds of tests, including end-to-end testing, with product managers also involved in testing.
Skills & Experience:
Experience: At least 5 years of web application development using Javascript/Typescript, Node.js frameworks (e.g., Nest.js), GraphQL, and MVC frameworks.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CSS and JavaScript.
API Development: Extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL Queries & Mutations.
Microservices Architecture: Experience crafting and developing multi-tiered applications within a microservices architecture.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban.
End-to-End Development: Proven track record of developing web applications from inception to delivery.
Technical Understanding: Good understanding of usability, networking, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Desired Skills: Experience with Golang, Nest.js, Next.js, UI/UX design.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability: Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts, coupled with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
