The Role

As Bloomerang continues to grow, we need to increase the breadth and depth of our engineering organization as well as increase the ability to meet our customers’ needs. As a Software Engineer at Bloomerang, you will play a pivotal role in achieving this objective. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, and driving innovation within the organization. 

What You Will Do

• Partner with Product to design and deliver product solutions

• Review code

• Troubleshoot and debug

• Develop and maintain documentation

• Assist with deployments to production environments

• Develop solutions in our outgoing framework (AngularJS) and in incoming framework (ReactJS)

• Assisting with System Monitoring

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience with Node  (JS/TS) is a must.

• Agile processes

• Experience with single page application frameworks (React.JS) and Javascript architecture beyond jQuery and DOM manipulation

• Strong SQL skills (POSTGRES)

• Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous operations.

• Experience with unit-testing

• Prior Experience working with a SAAS Company

 

Nice to Haves But Not Required

• Prior experience working in a startup environment

• Experience with AngularJS  (<1.8)

• Third Party Integrations

• Java

• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

• Production Database Management (RDS)

• Past Experience in a Full-Stack Engineering Role

Compensation

The salary range for this position is: $87,000 - $131,000 USD. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.

 

Location

This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
