Joanna Manaves

The planning and materials management director of Peacock Foods, Joanna Manaves executes her duties with an emphasis on exceptional customer service and meeting all fill-rate goals. Working out of Peacock's headquarters in Geneva, Illinois, she manages operations at five company plants throughout the greater Chicago area. Joanna Manaves' achievements with Peacock include programming a scheduling/capacity module in the company's existing enterprise resource planning system, implementing a company barcode system across five production plants, and achieving a 25 percent increase in inventory turn improvements several years in a row.

Before assuming her current position in 2002, Joanna Manaves performed a range of accounting and financial services for Production Packaging, Inc., a Geneva-based company that Peacock subsequently acquired. She also handled a range of information technology and human resource responsibilities.

Outside of her professional environment, Ms. Manaves is an avid swimmer who enjoys doing laps at her local pool and swimming in open water during beach vacations. She also serves as a regional vice president for the United Hellenic Voters of America.
